Transporting Crude Oil and Refined Products

Aster Bukom’s Marine Terminal comprises 13 jetties. 12 at Pulau Bukom Besar and one at Pulau Ular — and a Single Buoy Mooring (SBM).  

Crude oil is primarily imported through the SBM, while refined products are transported via submarine pipelines and by ships that berth at the terminal’s wharves.
